Friday’s Color Combo

Friday’s Color Combo

Happy Friday Everyone – the Friday’s color combo card shows a new way to find colors when looking for color combinations to use in your card making.

This was suppose to publish last Friday but somehow I forgot to schedule it and it. I am publishing it now. Ooops!

Last week I started a series to show you how to get color combinations for your handmade cards. Today’s card shares another idea for finding colors.

Don't you love Fall leaves? The mixture of colors on the leaves is always interesting. Check out this Friday's color combo to see where I got the colors for these leaves.

Check out this video that shows how I came up with the colors for the above card.

This card uses the Gorgeous Leaves bundle. If you don’t have a stamp set with leaves in them, you need to get this set. I have had lots of fun playing with it for my next Advanced Class.

Are you ready to make this card? Here are the Measurements.

card base: Mossy Meadow – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″

layer: Very Vanilla – 4″ x 5 1/4″

leaves: scraps of vanilla

When you are creating your cards make sure you do the inside and the envelope like this one.

Look at these great Fall leaves! The mixture of colors on them is interesting. Check out this Friday's color combo to see where I got the colors for these leaves.

Here are some other ideas for Fall cards with leaves. This one uses an inked background for lots of color. This idea uses some of the Fall colors I talked about last week and a sprig to create a focal image.
