Fun ribbon idea using the Gold Shimmer Ribbon from Stampin’ Up!
Hello Everyone – I am playing with this ribbon technique again and used a fun ribbon idea using the gold shimmer ribbon from Stampin’ Up!
One of my favorite techniques is to deconstruct my ribbon. You get so many fun bows to use on your cards. For this one I cut the ribbon in half and then used the 2 strips to tie my bow. This gave me a fun multiloop bow for my card.

Check out that bow! To create it I took the strip of ribbon and cut it in half. I then tied my bow and attached it to the card front using glue dots. Then I pulled the threads from the ends and loops of the bow to give it that whispy look. I love finding ways to alter the ribbon for that fun whimsical look.
This card uses Kendra’s Card Challenge #8 Sketch 4. I used the stamp set to create the flowered panel. Using first and second generation stamping was the perfect way to create the background. That flower image is the perfect way to decorate the inside of your card and envelope.
I created the watercolor panel to match the pattern paper on this card. This card uses the same pattern paper as today’s card.
