Getting Krafty

There is a September challenge on Verve’s website where you create a card and have to use Kraft cardstock as part of your card.  In one of my orders from Julee she had used this pretty tissue paper to wrap my stamps in.  I thought it would be fun to use the tissue paper on the card.  I knew the faux silk technique used tissue paper so I decided to use that to create my card.  It was fun doing this technique but I have to get a glue stick as I had to use glue to attach the tissue paper to the white cardstock and I had to wait until it had dried.  Here is my creation which I really like.

Stamps: Floral Whimsy, Thoughtful Florals Paper: Cool Carribean, Kraft, white Ink: Basic Gray, Cool Carribean Accessories: ribbon (Michael’s), slot punch, Spring Bouquet punch, Trio Flower Punch, Word Window punch, Swiss Dot Cuttlebug embossing folder, silver brads, tissue paper, glue, sponge dauber, sticky tape, dimensionals

It may be hard to tell, but the tissue paper has silver specs in it which adds some extra bling.  Hope you like it.  Thanks for looking and have a great day!

  1. Liked the card but not the craft background. I liked the idea using the tissue paper. It’s nice to see you back. Sandy
