Happy Friday stampers – today’s Good friends are like stars card uses a new to me kit.
I recently purchased several kits from Paper Wishes and this is my first play with one of the kits.
Today’s Project
I learned several things about this Hot off the Press card kit and the paper included. I have more paper and punch outs that I will be playing with in the future.
This paper is beautiful but it has a coating on it to make it smooth. Because of this I could not get my tape runner to stick to it and had to use glue. I had no issues with the glue.
It is hard to tell but the sentiment element was punched out and the center can also be punched out. I added the outline to a white panel so you could see it. The sentiment was added using dimensionals. I #ShopYourCraftStash to find a star to use for the inside of my card and envelope.

I have made several friendship cards over the years. Here is one with a simple flower and easy layout. Some circle stamps and a butterfly die cut make this card a quick and easy idea.
