Good things at Christmas!

Good Morning Stampers!

Well I spent yesterday making some cards.  I had to make my cards for the New Towne Village group next week.  I also had to make cards for a project as well as my card for today.  I did spend some time talking to Jess about what our next move should be.

Today’s card began with the sketch challenge at Around the World Challenges

I was drawn to these colors when I saw them.  They just said Christmas to me.  I liked the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches

I had not played with their sketches in a while so I decided to use this one for my card today.

I thought of using the Cherry as the small rectangle at the bottom and emboss it with the stars embossing folder.   I then thought that the background needs to be embossed also so I used the same embossing folder.  I then added some Cherry Cobbler baker’s twine.  Now I needed to do the main rectangle piece.  I decided to use some trees and sentiment.  The only thing left was the button.  I used some of the gold buttons and my card was done.  Here is my interpretation of both challenges.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I need to make a card today and my new refrigerator is being delivered this morning.  It will be hectic here.  Have a Great Day!
