A Halloween Medallion

Hi Ladies!

Edited to add: I received several e-mails asking how I made the medallion so large (it is actually 9 inches across).  I used 1 sheet of ds paper and cut it at 3 inches.  This gives you 4 strips.  Score each strip every 1 inch and then join the strips as you would for a smaller medallion/lollie.  If you have any other questions, please let me know.

Today is the last day to be included in the drawing for a free pass to Christmas Dream from Stampin Fun and Friends.  Make sure you go to this post and leave me a comment.  I will pick a winner this evening.

Yesterday was a chilly day.  It rained off and on all day.  The areas around us got a snow storm.  I would have preferred to have the snow but we still have a lot of leaves on trees so we would have probably lost electricity.  Maybe the rain was a blessing after our problems from Hurricane Irene.

My share today is not a card.  It is a Halloween medallion.  Lollies/Medallions are a rage right now.  I saw a UStream where the lady made a large medallion that you could hang on your wall.  I made my own.  This one measures about 12 inches across.  I used some retired paper.  I saw several cards where they used paper to create a skirt for the witch using the Wicked Cool set.  I decided to give it a try for the image on the front of my medallion.  It takes a real knack and I think I need some more practice.  Here is my creation.

I had fun making this and now I have a wall decor for my house.  Thanks for looking and have a Sensational Sunday!
