Hand Stamped Sentiment card box

Good Morning Ladies!

Well it is Tuesday and I have my Hand Stamped Sentiments entry for this week.  Our challenge this week is a theme – Go for the Green St. Patrick’s day projects. 

This was definitely a challenge for me as I don’t have any St. Patrick’s Day stamps.  Knowing that I pulled out my catalog and went looking for ways to make a shamrock.  Some turned out cute and some were not.  I am sharing all of them with you so you can see we all have days when things just don’t go right.

 This week I had a card/box set.  I pulled out an old pattern for a card box that is super simple.  Here is my box with the cards inside.

Here is my first card.  To create the shamrock I used the Build a Blossom set.  I used my stamp-a-ma-jig to line up the placement of the flower petals.

My second card used the small butterfly from Flight of the Butterfly.  I inked up one of the wings with a marker and stamps it.  I again used my stamp-a-ma-jig.

The last card to show you uses the build a blossom big flower petal.  I stamped it then punched it out with the punch.  After that I cut the top off to resemble the leaf of the shamrock.  I forgot to decorate the inside of this one so I don’t have one to show you.  I’m not happy with this one and think I should have used 4 leaves instead of 3.  What are your thoughts?
