Hand Stamped Sentiments – Butterfly

Good Morning Ladies!

Well I test drove my last car yesterday.  I have eliminated some of my choices but I still have to narrow it down more.  I think I am going to check out some reviews on Consumer Reports to see if I can narrow it down even more.  Then I will test drive again.  Hopefully I can take it for a long drive this time.

I had some time yesterday and was able to make 3 cards.  One was for today and the other 2 were using a card in my Take Ten Magazine.  I may do a short video to show you how I went about making those.  Would you like that?

My card today is for the sketch challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments .

I created this sketch so I realized at the last minute I had to make my card to post.  I literally put my card together in about 15 minutes.  I decided to use a butterfly for the large image.  The rest was just a matter of choosing the paper and colors.  I wanted to use a patterned paper for the underneath so I pulled out my Bohemian ds paper and chose one of those.  I then used a lacy black overlay to give it some interest.  After that I pulled out my Bermuda Bay sequin trim and stamped my background.  Here is my completed card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I am taking my sister for an MRI today so I will be sitting for a while.  Need to find something to work on – maybe my knitting.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!
