Hand Stamped Sentiments – Easter bow

Hello Stampers!

I had to quickly make my card and do my coloring for today.  I was gone almost all day yesterday so it had to be a quick task for the evening.

Today is day 22 of the coloring challenge.

I found another card I fell in love with and wanted to do my version of it.  In order to do that I needed some images.  I used my markers and Blendabilities to color up these images for the card.  Look for the card later here on my blog.

Now on to my card for today.  It is the Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge today.  This week is a sketch challenge.

I have to admit when I saw this I immediately thought of Mr. Potato Head.  Don’t you see it too?  Well I knew I could not do Mr. Potato Head so I had to come up with something else.  With all the elements I knew it needed to be simple or it would not look right.  I decided to do an Easter sentiment and make it an Easter card.  I also knew the colors had to be limited so I used Island Indigo and Soft Sky.  Here is what I came up with.

With a complicated sketch like this you will have to check out what the other ladies created.  Head on over to the Hand Stamped Sentiments blog to check out the other creations.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be working on my taxes today.  Think of me as you get to play and I have to do the taxes.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!
