Hand Stamped Sentiments – Flower Power

Hello Everyone!

Well Zoie got her first haircut last night.  She has long hair as her mom has not cut it since she was born.  Zoie was not thrilled with the idea but we told her we were just getting the “Icky” ends cut.  She was okay with that.  She has definite ideas about her hair.  Some days she insists on wearing her hair down and “crazy” as she says.  It does look so much better and we didn’t really cut that much off.

This week at Hand Stamped Sentiments we have a color challenge.

I thought of flowers when I saw this challenge.  I just recently got the Beautiful Bunch stamp set and matching Fun Flower punch.  I decided to use it for this challenge.  I stamped a bunch of flowers in the colors.  I then started layering them on my card base.  When it was all done I felt it needed something so I pulled out my ribbon and added that.  After the ribbon I had to naturally add some bling so I grabbed my rhinestones for the center of the flowers.  Here is what my final card looked like.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I made a cute treat for Zoie’s teacher yesterday.  I will share it later this week.  Have a Terrific Tuesday!
