Handmade Christmas Greeting Card

Handmade Christmas Greeting Card

Hello Everyone – I love today’s Handmade Christmas Greeting Card idea and wait until you see what pattern paper I used!

Those of you who know me know I love combining stamps and paper from different collections. Doing that extends the use of your supplies in many ways.

When I look at pattern paper I always think about what I already have that I can use with the paper. The Beauty of the Earth paper was one of those examples that I saw multiple uses for the different patterns. This paper can span several seasons from Summer to Winter.

One of the patterns that caught my eye was the blue trees. I immediately thought of Snowflakes and Christmas Cards. I knew I could pair it with the So Many Snowflakes dies for a gorgeous card. The colors were easy as they were dictated by the colors in the paper.

I used the Shimmery card stock for the larger snowflakes and then sponged on some ink. I felt the ink dulled the shimmer so I went over them with my Wink of Stella as I wanted some sparkle! And speaking of sparkle, check out the metallic mesh ribbon! Isn’t it the perfect choice for this card?

To finish off this card I used my favorite sentiment from the set. I just love that sentiment as it is so perfect for the frosty time year. Here is my Handmade Christmas Greeting Card idea. I am so in love with this card!

Snowflake cards are my favorite cards to make for Christmas. This beautiful Handmade Christmas Greeting Card uses the Beauty of the Earth pattern paper as the inspiration for the card.

If you love the snowflake dies you will love using this idea along with the same pattern paper on today’s card for a fun card. If you like making your own backgrounds, check out this video where I created a watercolored background for the snowflake dies.
