Hello Everyone ~ ready for the Handmade Note and Calendar for OnStage 2018 pillow gift?
Well I got a decent night’s sleep but I still need more so it will be early to bed again tonight. I managed to get my workshop for today prepped and my videos for this week recorded yesterday. This morning I will pack things up and head over to the Pavilion to set up. After I am finished I need to go to the grocery store as I need a few things to get me through the week until I leave for Jess’ on Saturday. Then I need to clean the bathrooms. It will be another busy day. I will get to bed early again so I can catch up on my sleep and boost my immune system so I am prepared for the girls.
Today I am going to share one of my pillow gifts I made for my friends at OnStage. One of the gifts I made them was a Notepad and Calendar. I began by using everyone’s favorite color. This one uses Mango Medley. I cut the paper and folded so that I can add the pen on the outside. The loop to hold the pen is made of paper and is part of the holder. I used the Delicate Lace edgelits and cut it out in Basic Black. Magnets are used to hold the notepad closed. I added the magnets using glue dots. I then attached the edgelit to the inside of the front flap to cover the magnets. The other magnet was added to the inside left cover. The homemade calendar was attached to cover the magnets. A lined notepad was added to the other side of the inside. To finish off the cover I cut 3 letters out of Basic Black and glued them together. I added a layer of Crystal Effects on top and let it dry. I then attached the letter to the lower left hand corner of the notepad. Here is my completed Handmade Note and Calendar for OnStage 2018.
