Hello Everyone ~ today I have a Handmade Thank You Card Design as I know we can all use more thank you cards.
Well there was a huge punch list of things that need to be fixed from the walk through yesterday. Most of it was sanding and painting. The other major issue was the door locks. The people who installed them really messed them up. I am not sure when it will all be finished. I also have to meet with the builder to go over the overages as I have a lot of questions. I have a feeling I will be driving to Maryland on Monday as I do not see this getting settled before then.
I have a thank you card today. I need them all the time so I decided to play with a sketch I saw on the internet. I began with a Blackberry Bliss card base. I then took a piece of the Share What You Love designer series paper and using some retired gold ribbon I wrapped it around the bottom. This panel was added to the card base. I then tied a bow with the same ribbon and added it with a glue dot. Next I cut a piece of Blackberry Bliss card stock that measures 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″. This was attached to the card base. Using Whisper White card stock I cut four pieces that measures 1 1/8″ square. I also cut a piece that measures 1″ x 1 3/4″. Now it was time to stamp my pieces. For each of the squares I stamped a different image from the stamp set using Blackberry Bliss for the flowers in the upper left and the sprig in the lower right, Blushing Bride for the sprig in the upper right hand corner, and Mossy Meadow for the leaf spray in the lower left hand corner. I stamped the sentiment with Mossy Meadow. I took the sentiment layer and added it to the center of the Blackberry Bliss panel using dimensionals. The 4 squares were added to the top and bottom of the Blackberry Bliss panel making sure they are evenly spaced. Here is the completed Handmade Thank You Card Design.
