Happy Friday Everyone!
I bet you are glad to see the end of the week! Those that work, will have Monday off so a 3 day weekend is great. The weather is supposed to be okay. The rain should be out of here by tomorrow afternoon so it will not interfere with the egg hunts on Sunday! Zoie and Remi are going up to their other grandmother’s for dinner so they will have an egg hunt there. I am certain Zoie will also do some hunting here.
One of the things Chris has done with Zoie in the past is to plant jelly beans. Then before she goes outside the next morning, he goes out and puts lollipops sticking out of the ground. She thinks this is a big deal and loves going out to get the lollipops. Do you have any traditions you do with your grandkids?
My card today is another version of a card from my Take Ten magazine. The premise behind the Take Ten magazine is the cards are supposed to be able to be completed in 10 minutes. Once all the decisions are made you can create the card in 10 minutes or less. Isn’t it great to be able to create a card in that amount of time? Perfect for when you need a quick card. I also like the fact that while they only take 10 minutes to create, they still look great!
For this card I picked out colors that were similar to the card I was CASEing. I then chose some designer series paper for the background. I stamped my flowers and punched them out with a punch. The leaves were made using a retired 5 petal flower punch. I chose to use a birthday sentiment as I need some to sell. Here is my completed project.
