Hello Everyone ~ A simple birthday card idea is my share today with the Happy Birthday with Candle Embellishments creation.
Today is National Doctor’s Day! So appropriate with all we are going through today. If you see a doctor make sure you thank them for their hard work. You can even flood Facebook with all kinds of thanks!
I spent the entire day in my studio yesterday. It was a lot of fun. I got all my cards and videos for this week completed. I made a list of all I had to do and slowly crossed it off. Today I am going to work on the baby blanket I got for Jake. I found material with soccer balls all over it. I hemmed it the other day and now I have to add the blanket stitch around it. Once I finish it I can mail it out to Michaela. Josh is a big soccer fan and does a podcast for the LA Galaxy so he is going to love it!

I began by stamping the cake using Memento ink. I then used my pencils to color it in. I was going to stamp the sentiment at the bottom so pulled out my Itty Bitty Greetings set and mounted my sentiment. Image my surprise when I stamped it and looked at it.
I did not pay attention to the entire word and grabbed the wrong one. That meant I had to fix the mistake. I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of Whisper White. I used my favorite retired banner punch to flag the ends. I added this strip over the mistake using dimensionals. This panel was added to a piece of Daffodil Delight. The panel was then mounted onto a Call Me Clover card base. To finish off the card I added a candle embellishment in the upper left hand corner. Here is the completed Happy Birthday with Candle Embellishments.
