Hello Everyone ~ I have a pretty Happy Birthday Flowers card for you today!
What technique do you struggle with most? I think the one that I struggle with is foiling. Not because I can’t get it but because I am trying to do it without the correct equipment. I keep trying different ways but have mixed success so far. I will keep trying and hopefully I will get a method that will finally work.
Sale-a-bration is almost over. Have you gotten all the fabulous product that you want? One of the offerings is the Happy Birthday to You stamp set. This set has a few sentiments, a dots stamp, and a great cake. Stampin’ Up came out with coordinating dies so you can cut out the cake as well as a die to cut out just the flowers. What a great way to extend the use of this stamp set. I decided to use those flowers for my creation today. I began by inking up the cake using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I wanted to use just the flowers so I used that die to cut them out. The flowers were colored using Coastal Cabana and Granny Apple Green markers. For my card I began with a card base of Coastal Cabana and wrapped some Silver metallic edge ribbon around the front. For the background I took a piece of Whisper White and embossed it with the Scripty 3D embossing folder. Then using the Stitched Shapes dies the next to the largest oval was used to cut out the shape. The oval was attached to the card front using Tear & Tape. The flowers were added using dimensionals. To finish the card a bow was tied using the ribbon and it was added using Glue Dots. Here is the completed Happy Birthday Flowers creation.

There are some great products in Sale-a-bration this year. Here is a card that uses the same flowers as the card shared today. This idea uses a suite of products you can get for free with a qualifying order. A cute bee card uses another Sale-a-bration item.
