Hello Reversed Masking

Happy Friday Everyone!

What I fun day I had yesterday.  Zoie and I went to the see the Fairy and Gnome houses at Anne Marie Gardens.  They were so much fun.

She is so skinny she had a hard time keeping her tutu up!

There was another little girl who was also looking at the houses and she and Zoie explored together.

Here are 2 examples of some of the houses.   The first one was titled Downton Fairy House.  The second one was Beach Bungalo2.

After we saw the houses, we went to Chic-fil-et and had lunch.  She then spent some time playing in the play area.  Before we left she got an ice cream cone.  It was a very busy day and she fell asleep when we got home.

My card today is for the SUDSOL Design Challenge.  The challenge was to use reversed masking.  I decided to use some retiring colors and stamp set.  I cut my oval out of typing paper and then covered my card front.  I stamped the hexagon oval image in the center.  I then used markers to color the rose and stamped it in the center.  Finally I took a sponge dauber and pulled some color in towards the center.  Here is my creation.

So do you have some fun plans for the weekend?  Zoie and her dad are going to a Father and Daughter dance tonight.  I will make sure I post some pictures tomorrow.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be spending a lot of time crafting this weekend as I want to get a lot of commitments finished this weekend.  Have a Fabulous Friday!

  2. I would have said that I would have taken the Fairy House park but was not at home and prefer to respond on the computer and not my iPad! What great pictures and how adorable Zoie looks….must have been so fun, especially with two little girls having such fun! Your card is wonderful…great fun having a grand daughter to spoil with fun and ice cream! Enjoy the long weekend!
