How do you store your Ink Pads?

How do you store your Ink Pads?

Do you struggle with storage? Well check out this posts that answers the question – How do you store your Ink Pads?

Did you have a great weekend? Mine was low-key which was nice. I got a few projects finished which I love as I get to cross things off my to do list.

I have a lot of ink pads and for years I struggled with how to store them. It took me a while but I finally came up with a system that works for me. I opted to store my pads by collections but others store theirs alphabetically. Choose the method that makes it easy for you find your pads quickly.

I love having my Stampin’ Up Colors at my finger tips making it easy to craft. Years ago someone one made me this revolving storage holder. We designed it after one I saw online. I wanted to be able to store my reinker and marker with my ink pad so the design took that into account. There is also enough space in the marker slot to put blends if you have those. As an added bonus, it created a spot to put my sponge daubers also.

When it was made we currently had the 4 collections with 10 in each collection and 5 In Colors.  Since then our colors have increased and we picked up a few specialty pads.  I store those on top with the reinker and markers.  I love this holder as it swivels making it easy to find my pads.

I also have some other ink pads that are specialty that I don’t use that often.  I got this holder from my sister for those extra pads and duplicates or retired pads I have.

I went looking and found these ideas online. The first one swivels like mine. I has the same amount of slots as mine does but it does not have a space for your marker or reinker. There may be one available but it did not come up in my search. The second one is similar to the one I got from my sister. The company that makes these does have a model that will hold the marker and reinker on their website.

I hope this has given you some ideas for how to store you ink pads, markers, and reinkers.  Next week I will share some ways to store your card stock.  If you have one of these ways or a different way you store you ink pads, let me know.  Share some pictures as I would love to see how you have attacked this storage issue.
