How to make a seal with heat embossing
Happy Friday stampers – let’s learn How to make a seal with heat embossing today!
I remembered this technique from many years ago in a technique class I did. It is fun to do and can be used with lots of images. Basically you keep adding embossing powder to your shape until it is somewhat thick. Then while the embossing is still molten you press your stamp into it – stamp your stamp in Versamark before pressing it into the embossing – which leaves the stamp impression in the embossing. Such a fun technique and make sure you watch the video on You Tube to see how to do it. Here is the card I made using this technique.

About my card
White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
Basic Black – 4″ x 5 1/4″
Full of Life dsp – 3 13/16″ x 5 1/16″
Another fun embossing technique is to heat emboss on dark card stock. Here is an example of that technique. If you want a dramatic look try embossing then use ink and a blender pen for emphasizing the main part of an image.
