Splendid Autumn Z fold idea

Hello everyone – I have another fancy fold to share with you with the Splendid Autumn Z fold idea.

Today I am participating in a Stampin’ Dreams blog hop. The theme this month is Autumn/Fall.

I need to make a card for a shoebox swap with some local demos so I chose to use the Splendid Autumn dsp for a beautiful Z fold card. To create the continuous pattern on the front, cut a piece that is 1 5/8″ x 5″. Then cut another panel 2′ x 5″ from the same side you just cut the small piece from. The left side of the pattern paper is added on the left flap of the card front. The right side of the pattern paper is added to the right side of the inside of the card. When the Z fold is closed, you see the complete picture. You can use many of the patterns from this collection for your cards. Here is the card I made.

About my card

Crushed Curry – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 2 1/8″ and 4 1/4″
scrap for punching
White – 4″ x 5 1/4″
1 7/8″ x 5 1/4″ – 2 pieces
Scrap for die cutting
Splendid Autumn dsp yellow and rust trees – 1 5/8″ x 5″
2″ x 5″

I used sketch 9 from the annual catalog to make this fancy fold using strips of the dsp. This card has a fun layout that uses those pieces left over when you cut the front panel.
