Hues of Happiness in Navy
Hello Everyone – I have a quick simple card today with my Hues of Happiness in Navy creation.
If you have a lot of small scraps of pattern paper this idea is a great way to use some of them. I chose 3 different patterns and combined them for the card front. Using different sizes gives it interest. Choosing different colors brightens up the look.
Both the stamp set and dsp are retiring at the end of this month. I loved the bright colors and will miss the dsp.
Look at the coloring on the flower. It is easy to do using glycerine and reinker. Adding the darker edges gives it some interest.
The smaller scraps of dsp were used to form the panels on the side of the card. The larger piece forms the background for the sentiment and image.
Here is another idea of color blocking using the same dsp as today’s card. Look at how bright and cheerful this card is using the same dsp as today’s card.
Don’t overlook your shaped dies for your sentiment. This one uses the hexagon to stamp the sentiment on and then as an element to attach your stamped image.
I hope the Hues of Happiness in Navy has inspired you to use some bright colors. Thanks for visiting me today.
Have a Wonderful Wednesday!
