I Survived!

Good Monday morning!

Did everyone have a nice weekend? We had gorgeous weather on Sunday. I cut my grass (hopefully for the last time), killed some weeds, and cut down some bushes. Hopefully this will be the last time for all of this until next Spring.

The stamp-a-stack I planned for my cousin went really well. We had several ladies who were new to stamping. They did a great job and we were able to make 200 cards – 100 adult cards and 100 kids cards. We did 25 of 8 different designs. Her church will using them to send to a woman’s shelter they have adopted. We will do this again in January for Valentine’s Day and Easter cards. I took a few pictures and here they are.

I took some time yesterday to make a card for today. I am busy working on my projects for the craft fair. Still have a few things to do so I will be busy this week.

Today’s card uses the color challenge from the Color Dare blog. You were to use Real Red, So Saffron, and Soft Suede. I combined it with the sketch challenge at Tracy’s Eat Sleep Stamp blog. I decided to pull out some of my stamps that I haven’t used in quite a while. They are not Stampin’ Up but they are some of my favorite stamps so I will be using them this week. I may throw in a Stampin’ Up stamp every once in a while. So here is my first creation based on this sketch. I used a Penny Black stamp.
