In Good Taste Lucky Friend

Hello Everyone ~ I used a new pattern from the pattern paper pack for my In Good Taste Lucky Friend creation.

We had a successful online school day yesterday.  Remi got all her work completed and we played several card games.  I also worked a little on a couple of projects.  She loves to play memory and she is really good at it.  There are about 40 cards in the deck and she is so good at remembering where the matches are.  She beat me every game we played.

Today she has school again.  I have some workers coming also.  The weather is going to warm up today.  The water at the pool may still be a little too cool.  I am hoping it is warm enough to go for a bit on Thursday.  If not we will go pick up lunch somewhere.  We may go out after her last call and see if we can do a little shopping.  It will depend on the weather.

Those who know me know I love to combine dies to create fun elements.  On today’s In Good Taste Lucky Friend card I used the Painted Labels dies to create my sentiment element.  I used it with some designer series paper for a clean and simple card.  Here is the video for my In Good Taste Lucky Friend card.

Features of my Card

  • Heartfelt
  • Swirly Frames
  • card base ~ Night of Navy – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
  • Night of Navy ~ 1 1/4″ x 5 1/4″    and     scrap
  • Whisper White ~ 4″ x 5 1/4″    and     scrap
  • In Good Taste dsp ~ 1″ x 5 1/4″
  • Champagne rhinestones
  • Painted Labels dies

Layering dies is a great way to extend your supplies. The In Good Taste Lucky Friend card uses that idea for the sentiment layer. Great way to create a clean and simple card.

These fun circles make a simple background idea. Check out the In Good Taste Lucky Friend to see how I used it.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you.  I have a few projects I need to get completed and I have to get a video someone requested made.  Hope I can work on the projects while Remi is doing her lessons!  Have a Wonderful Wednesday and the layout for the In Good Taste Lucky Friend is an easy one.  You may see it again!
