Ink Blending Technique Creation

Happy Friday Everyone ~ I have a fun Ink Blending Technique Creation for you today.

Well I managed to make quite a bit of headway in my studio yesterday.  I unloaded lots of boxes and set up some of my areas.  I also found my clamps and my mat so I should be able to start recording soon.  After I worked in my studio for several hours I went into my bedroom and managed to unpack several suitcases and a box and got a lot of my clothes hung up.  Then I went into the kitchen boxes and managed to unload several of them.  Some of the items went into the dishwasher and some had to be hand washed.  I did discover that my mom’s large platter did not make the move.  It was broken in a couple of places.  So far that is all I have found that is broken.  I guess that is pretty good since in was moved several times.

My card today used the Ink Blending Technique.  I used a piece of Whisper White and sponged on ink randomly making sure to blend the colors.  The colors I used were Granny Apple Green, Bermuda Bay, Highland Heather, and Daffodil Delight.  Once I had my colors added I took a piece of Basic Black and using the 1/2″, 3/4″, 1″, 1 1/4″, and 1 1/2″ circle punches punched circles randomly in the Basic Black card stock.  I used the Tabs for Everything and Thoughtful Banners to stamp and emboss my sentiment.   I then added the Basic Black piece to the Whisper White piece so the in blending showed through the holes.  I used a piece of fun foam on the back of this panel so it would be raised from the Highland Heather card base.  Here is the completed Ink Blending Technique Creation.
