Inlaid idea using CutCardStock

Hello everyone – check out this fun technique used to create today’s Inlaid idea using CutCardStock card. This is a great idea to use with open dies.

When I saw this die I knew it would be great for Fall cards. I also realized it was perfect for the inlaid card technique.

Today’s Project

The inlaid technique uses an outline and using cut out pieces from the inside you fill it in to make an image. The outline was cut out with CutCardStock Coffee Bean. Then the image was cut out again using different colors for the various elements.

Now that I have my main focal point, I needed a background. I pulled out a brick stencil and added a light inking to create the brick background. It was mounted on the Coffee Bean panel then onto the Natural card base. The outline was glued down and the pieces were glued into place.
