Hello Stampers ~ I created my card today Just Beecause!
Well I am not sure what our plans will be today. Barb and I had talked about doing an outlet day. We also talked about doing a stamping day. I have 2 errands to run so we will see what we end up doing today. I am sure it will be fun even if we take the day to relax!
Our challenge at Hand Stamped Sentiments is a sketch challenge.
I struggled with how to get started with this one. I had recently gotten the stamp set Shooting Star. I also had the Detailed Dragonfly thinlits. I decided to pair them up with the bee hive and the bee and use the sentiment from the Pun Intended. It was just a matter of stamping the bee hive and cutting all the circles. I used the stitched shapes for the circles. Next I used the dragonfly framelits to cut a bee out of Delightful Dijon. I then used a black marker to color in the bee to look like one. To make the wings more realistic, I used a clear Wink of Stella on them. The bee was added with a dimensional. To address the different sized strips, I used patterned paper in the 3 colors I was using. After I attached my strips I added the layered circles. I then added some punched flowers from the retired Itty Bitty Punch Pack. Rhinestones were added to the center of the flowers which were then added to the card base. Now to do my sentiment I chose the general one from Pun Intended. After I stamped it I used the Triple Banner punch to add a flagged end to the sentiment and the colored layer. The sentiment was added with a dimensional. Here is my completed creation.

Super cute card! I love you used the bee as your focal point. And as always you always finish your cards beautifully inside, out and envelope. Thanks for being part of HSS design team!
