Late Night Stampers – mosaics

Hello Ladies!

I had a great time on Saturday and there was some beautiful scenery!  I thought I would share a few pics I took on our drive.  If you don’t want to see the pics scroll down for my card.

Ok now it is time to move on to my card for today.  Our challenge at Late Night Stampers  this week is Mosaic Madness – use a mosaic background of some sort.  I knew of one kind of mosaic where you take pieces of rubber and ink them up to make a mosaic background.  I have never been a fan of those style cards so I decided I need to do something else.  I googled “mosaic backgrounds” and found a great picture of square tiles.  I decided to use the picture as my inspiration.  I cut 1/2″ squares of different colored paper and then arranged them to form my background.  Here is my creation.

To get the squares to stick I ran them through my Xyron.  This was just like laying tiles – you need something to keep it straight.  I just eyeballed it.  Hope you liked my mosaic card today.  Thanks for looking and have a Marvelous Monday!
