Hello Everyone!
Well I got more done than I thought I would yesterday. I managed to get my card candy swap designed and I started on the pieces. I made my card for today and I started the little gift I give to the ladies who attend my monthly workshop this week. I will work on the gifts a little more and may get a chance to cut out some of the pieces for my card candy swap.
I am doing an English Garden card set and holder next week so I wanted to use some of the paper to give the ladies other ways to use the paper. I decided to see what sketch challenges I could find to do where I could use the paper. I found a perfect sketch at Paper Craft Crew Challenges.
I used a piece of the paper and added an accent piece down the middle. I then used the Garden in Bloom set which coordinates with this paper to make my small panel and add my sentiment. I wanted to use the word “Friends” from the sentiment in the set. So I masked off the rest of the sentiment using a post-it note and inked up the word. I removed the post-it note and stamped the word then punched it out. All it needed was some bling. Here is my finished creation.
