Good Morning Ladies ~ I used Lovely As a Tree by Stampin’ Up to create this great guy card today.
Yesterday I picked up a few things at Wal-mart and was able to start organizing my kitchen. I got some shelf liner and worked on placing my dishes and other items. I need to get some more for the lower cabinet so I can put my pots and pans and baking things away. I am slowly getting it going. I also unloaded a few more boxes and totes. I also spent some time getting my craft area set up some. I found my lights but do not have any way to connect them above my work area. I am thinking I will need some clamps and pvc pipe to create a bar across my table to put it on. Will need to see what I can come up with. Anyone have any ideas? I also found my Arkon holder for my phone and iPad so I can set that up Have not located my Big Shot yet so will keep looking and unloading boxes to locate it.
Continuing on our Catalog Journey the next set up is Lovely As a Tree. There are some great stamps in the set and I want to try and show each one in a different way to give you some ideas. For this one I took the single pine tree and colored it with my Soft Suede and Mossy Meadow markers. After I stamped it I cut it out. I used the Hardwood background and Soft Suede ink and stamped it using Soft Suede ink in the lower right hand corner of a Soft Suede card base. To add some interest I used a piece of the 5/8″ burlap ribbon and Multipurpose Liquid glue to attach it across the bottom of the card base before adding my image using dimensionals. To finish off the card, I added some retired gold enamel gems to the card front. Here is the completed Lovely As a Tree by Stampin’ Up creation. I apologize for the photo as until I can figure out when the best time of day to take photos are I am playing with different set ups. Hopefully I will get it figured out soon.
