Hello Stampers ~ another cute tag is up today with my Merry and Bright All is Bright Tag!
I managed to get my grocery shopping completed yesterday as well as worked on some cards for the blog. I have to work ahead as I will be going back to Maryland on the 13th and not sure how long I will be there. I will have to have my cards ready to post for an extended period of time so I will work on them over the next 2 weeks and have them ready to post for most of the month. Wish me luck that I get them done!
Today is the last Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge for this year. We have a sketch challenge this time.
Since I am working on tags this week I decided to use the sketch to make a tag. I began with my background which was Crumb Cake. I added a strip of the All is Bright designer series paper down the right hand side of the panel. My sentiment was stamped with Cherry Cobbler ink. A strip of the Dashing Along designer series paper was added to the top and bottom of the sentiment strip. This strip was added to the lower portion of the tag panel. I stamped the reindeer using Memento Tuxedo Black ink. I colored him in using Crumb Cake, Daffodil Delight, and Cherry Cobbler blends as well as the Basic Black and Blushing Bride markers. The coordinating framelits were used to cut him out. He was added to the tag using dimensionals. The Detailed Trio punch was used to add my hole for the ribbon. A piece of the Striped Burlap ribbon was added to tie the tag onto your present. Here is my completed Merry and Bright All is Bright Tag.
