Hello Stampers ~ want a quick and easy Merry Christmas Pines card?
I got my bathrooms cleaned yesterday and even did some laundry. I also got some of my creations for next month’s Creations of the month completed. I guess it was the fact that I had a massage in the morning so I was ready for the day! Throw in a few errands and putting dinner in the crock pot and I think it was a pretty full day. I felt good about what I accomplished at the end of the day! I am hoping to have a successful day today also. I want to cut for my daisy mini album class that is Friday morning, make some cards for my blog, and work on my tutorial for next month. Let’s see what I get done.
For my card today, I began with the sketch at The Paper Players
I thought this would be a great sketch to make a clean card with lots of white space. To address the banner shape, I cut a piece of Be Merry dsp and a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock. Using the Banner Triple punch I flagged the ends of both pieces. These were layered and added to the left hand side of the Whisper White card base. To make my circle element, I punched a piece of the gold glimmer paper using the 2″ circle punch. I added some sprigs by using Garden Green and Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper with the Pretty Pines thinlits. These were added to the circle using glue dots. This element was added to the card base using dimensionals. The sentiment was stamped on Whisper White using Cherry Cobbler ink then mounted onto a piece of Cherry Cobbler card stock. Dimensionals were added to the back and it was added to the card base just tucked under the circle element. Here is the completed creation.
