Metallic Masculine

Hello Everyone ~ what is better than a Metallic Masculine card?

Well I did it!  I managed to get my projects completed.  One is a new venture that I am super excited about.  I will be offering Creations of the Month.  This will be a service where you purchase the stamp set, stamp set bundle, or the tutorial.  I then have a pdf and a video showing you how to make 4 different cards using that set.  These cards are not shown anywhere and I do not offer them in my classes.  I have had a Suite Envy class for locals and the ladies have loved it.  I have decided to use the same idea for all my ladies online.  Make sure you check out the tab at the top for my Creations of the Month!

I also got my 12 weeks of Christmas tutorial ready to send out later today as well as my Newsletter which went out this morning.  This week the 12 Weeks of Christmas will be sent out later in the day since I had my newsletter to send out.  Sorry for all the e-mails.  It isn’t normally an issue but this month the first day of the month happened to fall on the 1st.  I have workshop later today so it has been a busy few days!

Today is our Global Stampers monthly blog hop.  You should have arrived here from Fiona’s blog.

So for my card I chose to use the Pick a Pattern dsp.  The cute animals in this paper are perfect for a masculine card.  Combining it with Copper embossed circles and you have a great Metallic Masculine card.  I began by covering a piece of Whisper White card stock with Versamark.   I then dumped on some Copper embossing powder and heat set it.  I repeated this several times until I had a nice solid copper piece.  Then using the 2″ circle punch I punches out 3 circles.  Then I used the Pick a Pattern dsp and the 1 3/4″ and 1 1/2″ circle punches to punch out some images from the paper.  I added tear & tape over the back of the images and attached them to the Copper circles.  Using a Piece of Very Vanilla card stock and the Woodland embossing folder, the card stock was embossed and then using Crumb Cake ink and a sponge dauber I highlighted the trees.  2 strips of 1/4″ Copper trim were added down the left hand side and then the layer was attached to the Crumb Cake card base using tear & tape.  Dimensionals were added to the back of the circles which were then attached to the card front.  My card is complete.  Here is my creation.

  2. I love the cute critters from the Pick a Pattern paper. And they go so well with the Woodland embossing folder 🙂

  3. That Pick a Pattern DSP is so cute and I love how you have spotlighted the images. Goes so well with the Woodland Textured Impressions Embossing Folder.

  4. Cute card and I’m totally biased when it comes to acorns.
