Hello Stampers!
Well yesterday morning was crazy! I went from one appointment to another and still managed to get home in time for my business coach call. It was hectic but then the afternoon was calm and I managed to work on my newsletter for this month. I have almost all the newsletter written so I can just cut and paste it into my template. I need to make a few items to photograph and include but that won’t take me long.
Today I am hopping with the My Inky Oasis Campadres. Our theme this month is to create a project where the dominant color is orange.
If you arrived here from Jasmine’s blog I am sure she had a fabulous creation for you. If you missed Jasmine’s stop, then click the previous button and check out her work.
Laura is also having a Giveaway. The details are at the bottom!
I have to admit orange is not one of my favorite colors. I rarely use it. I was in love with Crisp Cantaloupe a few years ago and was hoping that the new In Color Peekaboo Peach would be a light peach color. I have to admit it is not a peach color to me. There are no rosy undertones to it. I am hoping I can find some color combos I can use it with. Maybe I need to try it with some greens.
My project began with the Inspiration Challenge at Stampin’ Royalty.
I loved the orange color with the gold. I decided to use the Peekaboo Peach and some gold embossing. I looked through my stamp sets and saw the flower bush in Awesomely Artistic. I decided to use it and emboss it in gold. I added my ruched ribbon and tied a bow. I added it to my card base then stamped my sentiment and cut it out. I attached it with dimensionals and my card was complete! Here is my completed card.
