Mixed Media for CutCardStock

Hello everyone – I played with an idea from Jamie Pate for today’s Mixed Media for CutCardStock idea.
I have followed Jamie Pate for quite a while. She had a video the other day using a mixed media idea on a full sheet of paper to make 8 small panels you could use for you crafting. I used her idea but only made 1 panel.
Today’s Project
Following Jamie’s video I began by putting down a light tan color. Over top of that I put a soft pink. I then used a stencil with small squares and the pink ink to just add a bit for the boxes to be barely visible. Then using a leaf stencil and the tan I added some leaf sprays. A splatter stamp and brown ink were used to sprinkle in some splatters. To finish it off I used a rub-on across the bottom.

The panel was added to a white panel and then added to a colored larger panel. A die cut sentiment and butterfly were added to the mixed media panel to complete the look. To finish it off some silver twine was added.

I have used several ideas inspired by Jamie Pate. This tag is similar to one that Jamie had done. A project that Jamie did inspired this mini album.

Have a Marvelous Monday!
