Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge – snowman

Happy Monday Everyone!

Well I did not get anything done yesterday.  I was lazy! I did do some knitting but that was about it.  I could not get my act together.  I figured my body was saying it needed to relax so I can avoid the cold in this house.

Today is the challenge at Mary Jo’s Technostamper Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge.  This week we had a long card for the sketch.  I decided to use the sketch and make a regular size card.  Here is Mary Jo’s Monday Lunchtime Sketch Challenge for this week.

I have been on a snowman kick lately.  We do not have any snowmen stamps so I have been playing with some punched ones.  I need to work on making some snowflake cards but again we don’t have any stamps and the Snowflake card thinlit is not carrying over.  I do have some snowflakes from the November Paper Pumpkin I can use.  Would have loved to have a good snowman as we have 3 months we could have used it in.  Oh well I hope you do not get tired or seeing my punched snowmen.

I used some of the Under the Tree specialty paper.  It is a thicker paper as it was meant to be used for the Gift Box punch board.  One of the papers has what looks like snowflakes to me so I used it.  I then just added some layers using the Santa & Co ds paper and silver glimmer paper.  Here is my version of her sketch.

See that snowflake on the inside of the card and envelope, that is one of the stamps from the November My Paper Pumpkin.  My December kit has been sent so I will be curious to see what I get with that kit.  I got some time to play with it last week so I will be sharing what I made using my kit later this week.

Thanks for visiting me today.  If you have any ideas besides snowmen and snowflakes for winter cards, leave me a comment.  I am always looking for new ideas.  Have a Marvelous Monday!

Robbie
