My Inky Oasis Vellum Challenge

Good Morning Everyone!

Well today we are going to Jacksonville, North Carolina to check out the area.  Chris got his next duty station and they have to report there in November.  This is only about 35 minutes from my friend so we are going to check it out and then I can report back to Jess.  They can then decide if they want to take a long weekend and go down to check it out themselves.

I am in a Facebook group and they have monthly challenges.  This month the challenge is to use vellum.  I used a Tim Holtz stencil and used Distress inks in Shaded Violet and Wilted Violet to color over top.  I hit the vellum with heat tool so it would dry.  I then mounted it onto white card stock.  I then used the same colors to color my Avery Elle Peonies.  I used the matching dies to cut them out.  I mounted the flowers onto my card and stamped the sentiment with the same 2 colors and punched it out.  I attached it to my card front in the lower right hand corner.  To finish off my card I added some Virginia Turtle enamel dots in Autumn.  Here is my completed card.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Will you be creative today?  Have a Terrific Tuesday!

Robbie
