My Swap Card

Good Morning Stampers!

I saw a great technique by Donna at Butternut Sage Designs.  When I saw it I knew it would cool to do for a snow scene.  Since our theme this month was Winter Wonderland – what does it mean to you I knew I would use her idea.

It was fun to do.  First I embossed some snowflakes.  Then I added the swirls.  After I had embossed the swirls I added color all over.  I then painted the cardstock with Tombow glue and stuck down the mica flakes.  After the glue had dried I used a paintbrush and applied some cornstarch since the glue is sticky if you don’t adhere something to it.  Lastly I punched some snowflakes and used dimensionals.  Here is the final card.

This was my sample but the one I did for the swap I used a different blue.  Check back tomorrow to see what that one looks like.  Thanks for looking and have a Super Saturday!
