Navy Because

Good Morning Ladies!

Well the doctor’s appointment went well.  Remi is healing nicely and we are starting to see improvements.  He looked at Zoie’s tongue and said she has a little bit of a tongue tie.  Jess and I talked coming down the road and I think we are going to push her getting speech therapy to work with her tongue.  Jess has to see if insurance will pay for it and if not we will do it.  We want to take care of the lisp now and not wait until it becomes a habit.

So I shared with you a watercolor background I made yesterday.  I decided to use the color challenge at Just Add Ink for the colors of my card.

JAI #266

I attached my background to a Night of navy card base.  I then took some Night of navy strips and wove then for a panel at the side.

To incorporate the gold, I used some gold paper and punched out some leaves using the Bird Builder punch.  I added a sentiment in the lower left corner.  Here is my final creation.

To continue on my 30 Day Coloring Challenge

I decided to do some coloring on an acrylic block.  I colored on the block then spritzed it with water.  I used both vanilla cardstock and watercolor paper.  Here are the 2 results.

Thanks for visiting me today.  I will be spending a lot of time in my craft room today.  Have a Super Saturday!

  4. Great background effect. I like how each back ground can be different using the same technique. So that would make each card unique. Chantell JAI
