Happy Friday stampers – I have a new a fun card for the New You Tube series – scoring to share with you today.

I have used scoring on my cards for many years to add interest. In this new series I will show you a variety ways you can score your card fronts. For today’s idea I went with a basic scoring design. I added some lines down the side and then added some on the connecting side to create intersecting scored lines. Those lines were then used to frame my focal image in the opposite corner. Here is the card I made using this idea.

About my card

White – 5 1/2″ x 8 1/2″ scored at 4 1/4″
              3 3/4″ x 5″
              Scraps for stamping and die cutting
Blackberry Bliss – 4″ x 5 1/4″

This idea has the same premise that today’s card had but it uses dsp to draw attention to the image.  This idea uses a vellum embossed panel with the stamped image using the same layout.
