Hello Everyone ~ are you ready for a masculine thank you idea with my One Color Wonder in Soft Suede card today?
Well I am headed back to Maryland today. The time with Michaela and Jake went so fast. Now for the next week I will have Remi and Zoie as Jess will be out visiting Michaela and Jake. Cross your fingers and wish me luck that I can get the girls everywhere they are supposed to be with their crazy schedules. I am sure they will keep me straight as they are pretty good about know what they have coming up.
I was a little perplexed as to what I was going to do for the One Color Wonder today. Love What You Do in Soft Suede was a challenge as the color lends itself to masculine but not all of the images in the set are masculine. I looked at the set and chose 2 of the sprig images that I thought would work well for masculine and then set about creating the card. Here is the video for the One Color Wonder in Soft Suede.
There is a lot of dimension and texture with the different generation stamping and the embossing. Here is the photo so you can see all the details.

Since we all need masculine cards, here are some other ideas for you. If you have guys who like the sea, this card uses a seahorse for a great card. If you have some masculine designer series paper this idea would be great for a quick card. This one is a nautical idea using a sailboat for a great guy card.

Thanks for visiting me today and I hope I inspired you. I am anxious to get my Occasions catalog order placed. I may do it while I am at Jess’ and it will be delivered not long after I get home. I also need to work on scheduling my classes for the year. I will have plenty to keep me busy!
