One Sheet Wonder Clean and Simple

Happy Monday Everyone ~ ready for my One Sheet Wonder Clean and Simple card which is number 5 in the series so far?

I had a great weekend!  I got the girls new coats, hats, and gloves.  I also got lots of leggings and tops for them as well as a couple pairs of pajamas.  Other than a few little things for them, my Christmas shopping for them is done!  I did pick up a few things for me.  I got some nice sweaters as I do not have any and a couple of warm shirts to wear with it gets cold.  Now all I need to do is get the girls straight and my Christmas shopping is done!  I love having this out of the way so I can enjoy the holidays.  We listened to Christmas music in the car also.  Really puts you in the mood.  Today I will be busy getting ready for my trip to OnStage tomorrow.  I have to do all my blog posts, write my 12 Weeks of Christmas tutorials, take pictures for my blog, and type up the recipe for my swaps.  Somewhere in there I need to go to the post office to mail out a few packages.  I have a feeling it is going to be a long busy day!

Today I am continuing with my One Sheet Wonder series.  Today I have card number 5.  This one began with the little 1 1/4″ x 2″ scrap of paper.  Using the Triple Banner punch you want to flag the end.  You only want to cut off about 1/2″ so you will not stick it all the way in.  I used a post it note to hold the paper in the punch.  If you are not comfortable with this, just use your scissors and flag the end.  I then cut a piece of retired Real Red glimmer paper 1 5/8″ x 3″ and flag the end of this one also using the punch.  Attach the designer series paper flagged piece to the Real Red glimmer paper using glue dots.  I attached this element to the upper left hand corner of the Very Vanilla card base.  Take a scrap of Very Vanilla and the “Merry Christmas” sentiment from Timeless Tidings and using a Real Red marker ink up just one word on the sentiment.  I did the “Christmas” word first.  Stamp this onto your Very Vanilla scrap.  Clean your stamp really well and ink up the other word.  Stamp it centered over (or under depending on which word you inked up first) the word you have already stamped to create you sentiment.  Cut down the sentiment layer and cut a piece of retired Real Red glimmer paper a little larger than the sentiment layer.  Layer the 2 pieces of paper to form your sentiment element.  The Pretty Pines thinlits were used to cut out 5 of the sprigs.  These were added to the back of the sentiment element using glue dots.  The sentiment layer was then added to the card front using dimensionals.  Here is my completed One Sheet Wonder Clean and Simple creation.
