One Sheet Wonder Using Daisy Lane

Hello Everyone ~ I have a new technique today with my One Sheet Wonder Using Daisy Lane card.

Yesterday was a relaxing day for me.  I slept in since I was by myself.  Then I spent the day watching Christmas movies and relaxing.  Jess and the girls came home and they saw their new bunk beds.  They were excited and loved them.  Later Logan and his kids came over and they put up the Christmas Tree.  Then we went over to Logan’s and they put up his tree and had dinner.  I went grocery shopping with Jess so she and I could get groceries for the next few days.  Today I am going to work on one of the projects I brought with me.  I am hoping to get most of it completed.

I watched a demonstrator from Wales who is known for her one sheet wonders.  I decided to try my version.  I used an 8 1/2″ x 11″ and the Daisy Lane stamp set along with Flirty Flamingo, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, and Smoky Slate.  After I had my daisy and ferns stamped I added some swirls from the Leave a Little Sparkle stamp set.  Here is the sheet I created.

After I created my sheet, I then cut it into 4 panels to use for my cards.  I cut the panel in half at 4 1/4″.  I took this strip and cut it half at 5 1/2″.  To get the size I needed for my card front I cut the white side of one panel off to measure 4″.  Then I needed to cut off a small strip so it measured 5 1/4″.  I took this panel and decided if it would look best as a portrait or landscape card.  The one I chose for today was going to be a landscape card so I stamped the sentiment from the set in the lower right hand corner using Memento Tuxedo Black ink.  I mounted this panel onto a Pool Party card base.  To finish the card I added some pearls.  Here is the One Sheet Wonder Using Daisy Lane idea.

I love playing with the Daisy Lane stamp set.  Here is an idea using the stamp set to create vellum flowers.  This card uses shades of blue for a clean and simple card.  I love the shades of brown and blue for this card that uses the Buffalo Check background.
