Ornate Garden ~ Daisy in Seaside Spray

Hello Everyone ~ I am in love with my Ornate Garden ~ Daisy in Seaside Spray creation today!

We had a great technique in my Facebook Live yesterday.  It looks complicated but so easy and really adds a wow to the card front.  I found a bunch of old techniques that I will be doing in the group to add some spice to your stamping as I know you are getting tired of stamping just images.  Thursday night I will be doing another fancy fold.  I did not realize there were so many fancy folds out there until I started searching for ideas.  It has been fun and I have learned a lot.  Today I am going to work on my card for Saturday and a card for a challenge in  a group I belong to.  I also have to make some videos so it will be a busy day

In continuing with my focus on the Ornate Garden suite this week I decided to use the simple daisy image from the set.  I stamped it in Memento Tuxedo Black in and then used an empty Wink of Stella pen and some ink on a block to color it in.  It gave it a nice soft color and a little bit of sparkle as there was just a little left in the pen.  Remember to keep your pens as they make great watercolor pens!  I mounted the image onto a piece of Seaside Spray card stock.  I used a Whisper White panel and the daisy edge die from Ornate borders to cut a decorative edge on the right hand side of the card.  Since I still have some of the Seaside Spray metallic ribbon I used it on the bottom.  I wrapped it through the die cut to lock in in place and added some Tear & Tape to the back to hold the ribbon in place.  This panel was attached to a Seaside Spray card base.  The daisy image was added to the card front using dimensionals.  Check out the completed Ornate Garden ~ Daisy in Seaside Spray creation.

The 2019 – 2021 In Color Seaside Spray is a beautiful color.  Here is another daisy idea using this gorgeous color and the Daisy punches.  Seaside Spray also makes great masculine nautical cards.   This color is also great for Winter cards as you can see in this idea.
