Hello Everyone ~ a fun Ornate Style Die Cut Edge creation is the share for today.
It was a cloudy day all day yesterday. It was hard to get motivated to do much of anything. I did make a few cards and plan some kids kits I will be putting together. I also did some business planning and some laundry. It was a lazy day. Today I will be doing some more laundry and making some videos for this coming week. I need to get a bunch of cards to mail out as I am behind in that. I also want to put the kids kits together so I can send out the test kits to some friends to see if they are a good idea or not. It will be a very busy day today.
I have egg on my face. Somehow I deleted the video I had made that showed how I made today’s card. With that I will be explaining how I created today card. I began with a Terracotta Tile card base. I used the flower border die to cut the right hand side of the card front. I kept the die cut for adding in a later step. Take your 4″ x 5 1/4″ Whisper White card stock and add it to the inside of the card. Close your card front. Add small dots of glue to the back of the die cut. Keeping the card front closed, add the die cut fitting it into the cut out on the front like a puzzle piece. This will attach the the die cut to the inside panel of the card. Cut a piece of the designer series paper 2 1/2″ x 5″. Add it to the card front panel on the left. Use a piece of 2 1/8″ x 2 5/8″ piece of Whisper White. Stamp the sentiment into the center of your panel using Terracotta Tile ink. Stamp the small flower on the top and bottom of the panel. Use Old Olive ink to stamp the corner scroll in the upper left and lower right of the panel. Use the ink in the lid with a blender pen to color the flowers using Terracotta Tile and Old Olive. Add this panel to an Old Olive panel that is 2 1/4″ x 2 3/4″. Add this panel to the center of the card front using dimensionals. To finish the card, add some of the Gilded Gems to the center of the flowers. Here is the completed Ornate Style Die Cut Edge creation.

I have used different dies on cards. Here is one that uses a die for a border across the middle of a card. This masculine card uses a die for the gate fold. This idea uses the die across the top of the card.
