A Little Birdie Told Me

I used two different challenges for this card. First here is a sketch from Julee’s Mojo #39 and the second is from Beate’s Inspiration Challenge, here is the link for Jelee’s Blog and Beate’s Blog.

The stamp set used on this card is a Level 2 hostess set call Spring Solitude. I Used Soft Sky, Blue Bayou, Wild Wasabi, and Pumpkin Pie for my Ink and Card Stock. The chalk colors that were used are Pumpkin Pie, Not Quite Navy, and Garden Green. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoy what I came up with.

Wednesday’s Design by Robbie

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

Wow I can’t believe the end of May is here. Where did the month go? I hope everyone has some plans for the weekend.
For today’s card I had no trouble with the main pieces, but the rest of the card took some perseverance. Not one of my best cards but okay in a pinch.

Stamps: Sweet Dreams (hostess set), Tree for All Seasons Paper: Certainly Celery, Perfect Plum, Pretty in Pink, White Ink: Perfect Plum Accessories: Signo White gel pen, dew drops (share), ribbon (JoAnn’s), Delicate Design wheel
Thanks for looking and have a great day!

Color Challenge Monday

Happy Memorial Day to you all!

Well I am back in the USA and running as usual to get caught up on all that happened while I was gone.

Did you ever have one of those “Oh My Gosh” moment? Well that happened while making this card. Candice and I had picked out our colors and I chose Gable Green and Pixie Pink (pink and green are hot colors this spring). I had also chosen the set Polka Dots & Paisley (hadn’t used it in a while and thought it was time to give it a chance) to use on the card. I sat and stared for a while and played with some layouts in my mind but nothing was hitting me as the one to use. I had stamped the saying and was cutting the layers when I saw this large triangle sitting there and all of a sudden it hit me. Use the triangle in the upper corner on a white card and everything just fell into place. I started stamping, layering, and glittering and here is what I came up with!

Stamps: Polka Dots & Paisley Paper: Gable Green, Pixie Pink, White Ink: Gable Green, Pixie Pink Accessories: Green stickles, Gable Green & Pixie Pink markers, Spica clear glitter pen, Sakura Stardust , Gelly Roll pen, ribbon (Michael’s during the spring sale), dimensionals, sponge

Hope you liked it. Thanks for looking and have a great day!

What a cute little card for a picnic invitation. I just folded a Carousel Note and then used the Coluzzle Cutting System for the White CS and the Rose Red CS. I used the word window punch for the seeds or buttons would be really cute.

Thanks for stopping by hope you all have a wonderful weekend.
