I finally did it!

I have tried several times without success to create a 10 minute card for Carole’Anne and Sandi’s 10 minute Challenge. Each time I was just a few minutes off. Today’s card makes that challenge. I saw the Easy and Demonstratable challenge on Late Night Stampers and decided to give it a try. The challenge is to create a card that could be used in a workshop so it has to be easy and one that…

A card and an update

This is going to be short and sweet when it comes to the card. My creation today uses Mary Jo’s Monday Lunchtime Sketch. I used the colors Bashful Blue, Night of Navy, and Real Red from the Cards & Things blog in creating my card. I used some designer series paper and paired it with the large flower image from the Petal Pizzazz set. I often don’t use my larger…

Pink Celery Cocoa Friendship

Wow the wind last night was unbelievable. I was wondering if the gusts were going to take my furniture of the back deck. Today we have rain so I will be working on more cards. My card today was made for a color challenge at Diva Coffee Break Designs blog. The colors were Certainly Celery, Close to Cocoa, and Pretty in Pink. I wanted to try embossing only a portion of the card as I…
