Hello Stampers and Happy Friday ~ I love the Painted Autumn Harvest card for today.
Another productive day yesterday! I had a workshop in the morning and then spent the afternoon making cards to share with you. I managed to get my cards made through Tuesday of next week. That is good as I have some other projects I need to work on. I have to get my 12 Weeks of Christmas tutorial ready to send out on Sunday. Have you signed up for my newsletter as that is only way to get the tutorials. Sign up using the form on the right.
I got an order of some new goodies in yesterday. One of my customers ordered the Painted Harvest. She told me to go ahead and play with it and she will get it on Sunday when she comes for class. I took advantage of having the set and made a card for today using it. I began with the sketch challenge at Freshly Made Sketches
I thought the circle would be perfect for the sunflower from Painted Harvest. I stamped it with Crushed Curry ink and Chocolate Chip for the center. I then fussy cut it out ~ would loved to have a framelit for this one. Using Garden Green and Lemon Lime ink, I sponged ink onto a piece of Very Vanilla card stock. Then using the leaf punch from the Painted Harvest bundle I punched out 2 leaves. I set these aside and worked on my card base. I took my Lemon Lime Twist card base and attached a piece of the Painted Autumn dsp. Using the Layered Leaves embossing folder, I embossed a piece of Early Espresso card stock. This was attached to the card base using tear & tape. I used tear & tape and added a strip to the back of the sunflower. The tear & tape was used to add some loops of Linen Thread. The leaves were added using glue dots. To finish the card I added the sunflower with dimensionals. Here is my completed creation.
