Happy Monday Stampers ~ Are you ready for a fun Palette Thank You?
Well we were supposed to get all kinds of nasty weather yesterday and thankfully it did not materialize. It was overcast most of the day and we had some rain the night before so it was muggy! This week is supposed to be sunny all week.
I had 2 ladies come by yesterday. One did her make ups for the Bags & Tags and then both did the cards for my workshop this month. We had a fun time!
Today I ran across a fun challenge I wanted to try. There was a sketch challenge at Sunday Stamps.

This sketch would be good to help tone down some “in your face” ds paper and that is why I wanted to use it. I started out with good intentions with this sketch. I had my main image and layer finished and I attached it to my card. It was then that I realized I had put the image on my card upside down. That meant when I turned the card the right way, the image layer was on the wrong side of the card. I also realized that my bottom layer was going in the wrong direction. When I went to add the horizontal strip, it hid my sentiment so I had to move it. I ended up adding the strip vertically to the side. So my card looks entirely different than the sketch. A sketch is used to be a starting point. In this case it was a starting point for me. Here is my completed card.

Thanks for visiting me today. I have a couple of appointments this morning and then I am hoping to spend some time in my craft room. Have a Marvelous Monday and what fun palette thank you can you come up with?
