Paper Chevron

Hello Ladies!

Well yesterday was not what I expected.  Zoie decided to play daredevil and climb up a mirror leaning against her bed.  Needless to say she put her foot through the mirror and cut her big toe.  I was not certain if it would need stitches or if there was glass in it.  I had to make the dreaded call to dad (mom is out of town until this weekend).  He had to leave work and take her to the clinic on the base.  She did not leave stitches.  They glued it together and put a butterfly bandage on it.  I guess I will be fired as the sitter.  I felt so bad.  I know this is the first of several trips to the emergency room as she is such a daredevil.

My card today is for the sketch challenge at SUDSOL.

I ran across directions for making your own paper chevron at Scrapbooks Etc.  I thought it would be fun to make one and combine it with Modern Medley ds paper.  Here is my final creation.

I like the pattern combination on the front of my card.  It was interesting making the chevron piece also.  I will have to remember it for future use.

Thanks for visiting me today.  What pattern combinations do you like?  It would fun to see them.  Have a Fabulous Friday!

  1. How frightening for you and Chloe…but betting that you will continue to be her sitter…this could have happened with mom and/or dad as well, but understand how our minds work! Love your card….will have to give that a try! Your colors are wonderful!
