Hello Ladies ~ I finally played with the September Paper Pumpkin Leaves for my card today.
I was a busy bee yesterday! I managed to get 3 cards made, my bathrooms cleaned, my house vacuumed, and had a workshop. My day yesterday was filled with appointments so I did not get my bathrooms cleaned. Today I have back to back workshops so I would not have time to vacuum that meant I needed to do it today. I did get it all in and was super excited to get the cards made. I won’t have time today until late afternoon and if possible I want to make Sunday’s video. Hopefully I will remember to turn ON the mic this time! If I do not have the time, I will to it tomorrow afternoon after my workshop in the morning.
Last Sunday I spent some time in my craft room playing while I was watching the race and the football games. One of the items I played with was my Paper Pumpkin. This one had some punch out leaves that I decided to pair with the Painted Autumn designer series paper. I took the large watercolor leaf and stamped the large leaf image on it using the Cajun Craze ink. One of the brown leaf sprays was punched out and layered on top of the large leaf. To finish off the spray, I took one of the gold outline leaves and added it to the top. The copper foil baker’s twine was used to tie all the leaves together. A Cajun Craze layer was cut and a piece of the tiny square Painted Autumn dsp was cut and added down the left hand side. A strip of gold foil was cut and added to the right hand side of the dsp to cover up the edge. This layer was added to a Very Vanilla card base. To finish off the card a leaf spray was added on the right hand side of the Cajun Craze layer. Here is my completed creation.
